RaveNav Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the RaveNav app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Pixel Forge (collectively, the "Application"). Pixel Forge is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

  • Name and Email: Collected via Google or Facebook authentication.
  • User ID: A unique identifier to manage your account.
  • Profile Photo: Imported from your auth provider to identify you to friends.
  • Precise Location: Real-time GPS coordinates to enable friend-finding features.
  • Friends and Contacts: The list of friends you connect with inside the Application to enable map sharing and messaging.
  • Chat Messages: Messages you send to friends within the Application are stored to deliver conversations across your devices.
  • Device ID: Used for secure authentication and push notifications.

Location and Camera Access

Precise Location: The Application collects your device's precise location to show your position to trusted friends on the map, provide walking time estimates, and support geofencing (Safe Zones). You can toggle location sharing on or off at any time within the app settings.

Camera Access: The Application requires access to your device's camera solely for the purpose of scanning QR codes to add or verify friends. Camera data is processed locally on the device and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.

Child Safety Standards

RaveNav is committed to maintaining a safe environment. We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and exploitation. We provide in-app reporting tools for users to flag any safety concerns. Any confirmed violations will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other relevant authorities.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service. Your Rights: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time using the "Delete Account" button in the app settings. Alternatively, you may request data deletion by contacting us at buspro4u@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt-out of the sale of personal information. RaveNav does not sell your personal information.
